We made it in and checked in to the hotel and then 30 minutes later started the search for a good hospital. The first three we went to were full. After about an hour and a half of calling and visiting hospitals, we settled on our fourth choice. At first I did not like it at all(the 1960 looking one story hospitals just scare me) as it is dirty and old looking. Also, the screaming from Lilly when she gets the IV needles is really starting to get to us. That is the hardest to handle at this point because we are right there having to hold her down. With that being said, she will hopefully stay at this hospital until Wednesday evening and we can fly home on Thursday.
We will have a special request to the US consulate approved medical clinic tomorrow to see if they will be willing to send a doctor to lilly to do her medical exam. If not, we will take Lilly on the hour and a half car ride to the clinic. Pray it works out that we don't have to do that and also pray they pass her. Her doctor told us tonight that she should be able to travel on Thursday as long as she has continuous treatment until then. This doctor is saying she has asthma, broncitus, pneumonia, and an enlarged heart. They did new chest xray tonight,I left before the results came back, and in the morning they will do an Echo. I was actually shocked this place can do these tests. Jan is at the hospital with our two guides in this province. They will take shifts with her and trade off at 3 am. They are very good and do all our translation for us. (Nikki & Elvin) Side note: Lilly is definatley a fighter. We truly believe she would have not made it if we did not come and get her when we did. We know God has a plan for all of us and we are definatley seeing His hands in our lives every moment!

Just read the update! Specific prayer will be to get her home to US. God definitely wanted ya'll there because He knew she would have a crisis and you, as her family, were the ones that would intercede on her behalf. His will is always perfect though we as his children don't see clearly when trouble comes. Hold on to Jesus!

Jan, this is Tina from the CWA webboard (now FFTIA). I just wanted to let you know that I am keeping your family in my prayers and I'm passing on your prayer requests to our prayer chain at church. It is amazing to see God's hand in your adoption! I just know that He put Stephen there on this trip just for Lilly. God bless all of you. My prayers are with you for a safe trip home.
Love in Christ,
Tina

So glad to see an update on Lilly. She looks wonderful and I know the Lord will continue to bless her health. Wow, what an experience this has been for your family. I know it has been difficult but I am grateful also that you came when you did. I am sure it has saved this precious girls life. What a blessing you are to her. I look forward to hearing her progress when you all get back to the states! I'm sure we will see you and Lilly one day. Many of us here in Locust are lifting you up in prayer.
God Bless,

Oh my!It is so wonderful to see photos of all of you again! Lilly looks so sweet and fragile but she has a little sparkle in her eyes that just wasn't there before. We KNOW that God can heal Lilly. We've asked that Lilly be added to the Cornerstone prayer list.
Lilly has many, many people praying for her....and for all of you. We are believing that Lilly will be healed and that ALL of you will be on that plane when it lands in Columbia Thursday evening.
Hugs to all of you!
Sharon
P.S. Jan, Lilly and Bailey can grow their hair out together. We got new photos and they've cut Bailey's hair. It looks just like Brinley's did when we received her. ;)
What a journey you have been on. We will pray that she gets approved to travel. We are so thankful for your love for Lilly. She is blessed to have you as parents!
Love and prayers,
Rebecca

It was so wonderful to see Lilly today. I specifically prayed this morning that today you would see a positive turn in her medical condition. I will pray about her new hospital stay, a doctor to come to see her instead, and for her condition to improve every day before your departure on THURSDAY!!! Praise God that His timing is always perfect - He sent you to bring home your daughter when she needed you the most. It is such an encouragement to see parents like you and the Barbees pour out your love to offer a life of hope for these precious girls. I can't wait to meet Lilly soon.
Love to you all,

We are so glad to hear the good news that the doctors have given Lilly and Lainie the go ahead to come home! God is truly good! My four year old, Ella, has been praying for Lilly and said to say she hopes she feels better and gets to come home!
God Bless your family and have a safe trip in a few days!
Love,
Crystal
Wondering if you got Dr. Mac yet or not. I looked up Dr. Ozzie Shuler's office number...ped. cardiologist(803)434-7940. I am not sure this is the right dr. but I remembered the last name. Let me know what I can do to help. I went by your house today and it looks good and is waiting for you to come home!
love,
Rebecca
David & Jan,
Ms Nadine emailed me about your beautiful daughter. God is so good & He is always faithful. We all know of the awesome power of our Lord to love us, provide for us & heal us. He has Lilly in the palm of His Hand. Stand strong on your faith, as I know you are. God has blessed you. Lilly has got two great parents that faithfully seek after the Lord. We will be praying endlessly for Lilly's health & for all of you to return safely in SC.
Bless you all, Victoria J Bozard
