2 weeks after surgery

Enjoying a Friday night on our porch. Lilly loves to be outside- even in this heat!
Lilly's first time in a pool. Not much water because her incision can't soak in water yet. Katie and Ethan had to try it out with her.

Laundry day at the Bryant house. Shelby gave Lilly a ride on top of all those dirty clothes.

One week after surgery. Having a pre-breakfast snack of Cheerios while Daddy cooked a special breakfast on July 4.

Lilly is starting to pull-up on furniture. She loves our kitchen bar stools for this purpose.

Lilly is doing great! The check-ups last week with her pediatrician and her cardiologist both went well. The small amount of fluid around her heart is still present, but it had not become any larger. This was good news of course. Another ECHO will be done next week to again assess this pocket of fluid. Hopefully her body will have absorbed it by then. If it persists, her doctor said he will put her on Prednisone.
Today marks 2 weeks since surgery, and we are so grateful to God for healing our precious Lilly. If she continues to be free of complications, we plan to resume our "normal" life starting Sunday which will be 2 weeks after her discharge from the hospital. Again thank you for all of the prayers that you have lifted up on behalf of Lilly and our family.
